QUALITY ANALYSIS

FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR WATER

We take professional measurements to ensure the health
and wellbeing of your family. We detect the invisible to
protect what matters most.

Why is water quality important?

Water is fundamental to biological life.
The purity of water determines how efficiently your most critical bodily functions operate.
Cellular hydration

Structured water facilitates nutrient absorption through the cell membrane. This optimises energy.

DETOX

Clean water acts as a universal solvent, helping the kidneys and liver efficiently eliminate accumulated toxins.

Digestive health

Maintaining a balanced pH level in drinking water can significantly improve digestion and reduce chronic heartburn.

The parameters we analyse

We use advanced photometry technology to detect even the slightest trace of pollution.
RESIDUAL CHLORINE

Detects excessive treatment chemicals.

TOTAL HARDNESS

Measurement of calcium and magnesium (scale).

HEAVY METAL

Lead, mercury, arsenic, and copper.

MICROBIOLOGY

Coliforms, E. coli and harmful bacteria.

DISSOLVED SOLIDS

TDS in particular per million.

pH LEVEL

Acidity vs alkalinity of water.

PESTICIDES

Filtered agricultural waste.

NITRATES

Indicators of organic pollution.

THE BIOWELLNESS METHOD

Our three-step process

SAMPLE COLLECTION
STEP 1

A specialist visits your home to take samples from a consumption point, following sterile protocols.

LABORATORY ANALYSIS
STEP 2

The samples are processed in a certified laboratory using spectrometry and biological cultures.

step 3

You receive a detailed, easy-to-understand report, along with a customised filtration proposal if necessary.

What you don’t see in your glass

Tap water may appear clean, but the story is different at a microscopic level. We compared an average sample from the public water supply with the BioWellness standard.

Χ Tap water
High levels of chlorine and sediment from outdated pipes.

BioWellness Standard.
Multi-stage filtration that preserves essential minerals.

Reduction Contaminants

Do you notice anything strange?

METALLIC TASTE

Indicates the presence of iron, copper or zinc, often originating from pipes.

TASTE OF CHLORINE

Excessive municipal treatment. This affects the taste of food, as well as the nervous system and skin.

WHITE SPOTS

Hard water (excess calcium and magnesium). It damages appliances and dries out hair and bones.

If tap water is drinkable, why should it be filtered?

Although it meets legal standards, tap water can carry sediment and heavy metals from pipes, as well as disinfection by-products such as chlorine on its way to your home. Advanced filtration improves the taste and removes elements that can affect your biological balance in the long term.

What is the difference between filtered and osmosed water?

· Filtration (such as with activated carbon) mainly removes chlorine, odours, flavours, and large particles.
· Reverse osmosis is a much more thorough process that purifies water at a molecular level by removing up to 99% of dissolved contaminants, including heavy metals, nitrates, viruses and bacteria. Elements must be added to revitalise the water, such as minerals and trace elements. Ensure that this is done naturally.

In what ways does water influence my cellular system?

Water is not just a means of hydration; it is also the medium in which all chemical reactions in our cells occur. Water laden with waste products forces our body to work harder to detoxify. Drinking high-purity water can facilitate metabolic processes and improve cell regeneration in both the short and long term.

Is it harmful to drink water with a high lime content (i.e. hard water)?

While lime (i.e. excess calcium and magnesium) is not toxic in itself, very hard water can alter the absorption of other minerals and affect those predisposed to kidney or skin problems. Additionally, excess lime can damage household appliances and alter the molecular structure of the water we consume.

What are parasitic cysts, and why are they risky?

Cysts, such as those caused by Giardia or Cryptosporidium, are a form of resistance exhibited by certain parasites. They have a distinctive protective membrane that makes them highly resistant to chlorine. The only guaranteed way to eliminate them is by using high-precision physical filtration systems with pores smaller than 1 micron or reverse osmosis systems.

How do emerging pollutants, such as microplastics and drug residues, affect us?

Mains water currently faces so-called ’emerging pollutants’, which are elements that conventional treatment systems are not always able to eliminate completely. These range from microplastics, which are tiny particles resulting from the degradation of plastics, to pharmaceutical and hormonal residues that reach aquifers through human activity. These substances act as endocrine and cellular system disruptors, potentially interfering with our bodies.

How often should the filters be changed?

Our recommendation: Doctor Agua filters are environmentally friendly and come with a 10-year guarantee. To ensure the water remains pure and to prevent bacteria from proliferating in the system, we recommend annual maintenance. Depending on consumption and the quality of the incoming water, the sediment and carbon cartridges usually need replacing every six months, whereas the zeolite membrane can last up to 12 months.
