Improving the well-being and health of homes and businesses

.
Homes and businesses are indoor spaces where we spend most of our time. In most cases, they contain elements that work with electricity or emit wireless radiation (via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth), in addition to our own presence.

In the case of homes, we will focus on the bedroom, where we spend a third of our lives. We will avoid any device that could interfere with our most precious asset: a good night's sleep.

STEP 1: MITIGATE RADIATION

Multiple studies have shown that the proliferation of wireless devices, in addition to the radiation produced by electrical currents (dirty electricity) passing through the bed's headboard, can interfere with sleep quality. Avoiding wireless devices that emit blue light, which suppresses melatonin production and over-activates the mitochondria in our nervous system, will create an oasis of calm and prevent electromagnetic stress.

Prana devices have been tested by various universities and independent laboratories, and are recommended by Dr Billica, who was the medical director at NASA for ten years, as the best way to create a protected environment. Ask us about the most suitable system for your needs.

Excessive electromagnetic radiation affects every area of our lives, and its impact is exacerbated by proximity to telecommunication towers or high- or medium-voltage lines. One of our main objectives is to assess the extent to which this radiation affects us, as it directly impacts the well-being and health of people living in these areas.

STEP 2: ENVIRONMENTAL COMFORT

A space is considered environmentally comfortable when the temperature and relative humidity are optimal, allowing people to feel comfortable without feeling excessively cold or hot. The ideal temperature range is generally 20–24 °C, while relative humidity should be kept between 40% and 60%. These ranges influence not only thermal perception, but also air quality, microbial growth, and general well-being. They are therefore key to productivity and health in any environment.

STEP 3: AIR QUALITY

Good air quality and adequate natural ventilation in living spaces are crucial for our health and wellbeing. Removing pollutants such as CO₂, VOCs and allergens can reduce respiratory problems, headaches and fatigue while improving concentration. A constant flow of fresh air also helps to regulate humidity and temperature, creating a more comfortable environment while reducing the growth of mould and bacteria. In short, clean, fresh air is synonymous with a healthier, more productive home or workplace.

STEP 4: WATER: A SOURCE OF HEALTH

The water we consume in our homes and workplaces is one of our main areas of focus at Heiko Biowellness. Drinking balanced, contaminant-free, vitalised water is essential for human health. Pure water facilitates optimal cellular hydration, enabling our bodies to function efficiently in all metabolic processes. Free from chemicals and toxins, pure water reduces the burden on our purifying organs and prevents the accumulation of harmful substances. Furthermore, the ideal molecular structure of vitalised water can enhance nutrient absorption and waste elimination, leading to increased energy, vitality, and overall well-being.

STEP 5: BIOGEOMETRY

The quality of living spaces is enhanced by geometric shapes and noble materials such as wood, glass, cotton and stone. These natural elements generate a sense of harmony and visual balance that promotes psychological well-being. Wood and cotton provide warmth and texture, while glass allows light and a visual connection to enter. Stone, on the other hand, confers solidity and a sense of rootedness. Using these materials helps to create environments that connect us with nature, improving aesthetics and our perception of everyday comfort.

STEP 6: BIOPHILIA

Adding plants to our living spaces, a practice known as biophilia, is highly beneficial to our health. Plants purify the air by absorbing toxins and releasing oxygen, thereby improving indoor air quality. Their presence also reduces stress and anxiety, promoting calmness and mental well-being. Studies have shown that connecting with nature, including through houseplants, can improve concentration and creativity, as well as helping to lower blood pressure and create healthier, more harmonious environments.
